Politicians/Political Campaigning Notice

Festival by the Lake is a PRIVATELY owned and operated event that has the following rules for political candidates:

You are welcome to attend the event

BUT

No candidate will be permitted to stand on Bayfront Festival Park property at any entrance greeting people as they arrive or at any exit when they leave.

AND

No candidate will be allowed to hand out stickers, signs, buttons, literature, or any kind of other information on their campaign or sign up people to support their campaign unless they are a registered vendor at the festival.

You, as a candidate, are welcome to buy a space at the event to campaign at our special non-profit/government agency fee of $125.00. IF there is space available.

Any candidate that does not comply with these guidelines will be immediately asked to cease activities and if they do not do so will be asked to leave.
