Irving Donation Adds Children’s Area to 2022 Festival by the Lake

Festival by the Lake is excited to share this year’s addition of a children’s area featuring bounce houses, games, and live entertainment thanks to the generosity of the Irving Community Association. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, July 23rd at Bayfront Festival Park.

This year’s event has something for the entire family and will feature food, live music, product and service displays, shopping, demonstrations, arts and crafts, beer, and many other exhibits of interest to attendees, as well as the new children’s area.

Festival by the Lake is, in part, a fundraiser for the Bluebird Foundation and features live music on the Bayfront Stage throughout the day. This year’s featured performers include: Virgil Caine, Theft by Swindle, WoodBlind, Maxi Childs, Born too Late, Sydney Hansen, and a special reunion performance by Sound Inc.

There is a suggested donation of $5 to attend Festival by the Lake with children under 12 and seniors over 60 free. Suggested donations benefit the Bluebird Foundation, a 501 c3 that awards grants and scholarships to regional high school-age students in the performing arts.

Event hours are 11 am to 7 pm.

Vendor applications are now being accepted. For more information visit festivalbythelake.com or call 218-727-1177
